Mr. Alfred Ng'ang'a Kimani was born on March 4th 1975 in Nairobi, Kenya. He comes from a family of six and was raised in Thika Town, a suburb of Nairobi. He went to school in St. Mary's Primary School, a missionary school, from 1981 to 1987 where he discontinued his studies as he could no longer afford tuition. He started drawing and painting at the age of four. He nurtured his skills without going to any institutional training at first. His portfolio consists of hundreds of acrylic, oil, and mixed media pieces. "My art has been inspired by my love of nature."
